Undergraduate Study

This online taster series is designed to showcase the importance of mathematical skills in the preparation for applying to degree courses at Cambridge, and other competitive Universities, in which women and non-binary students are typically underrepresented. We want to raise awareness of the diverse career opportunities that are available for graduates of these subjects and aim to emphasise that success in these disciplines is not limited by gender. Each of the sessions will focus on the work of a famous female in a different mathematical field, and will be presented by a King's College academic.

Programme:

7 May, 5pm - 6pm: Session 1: Mathematics

14 May, 5pm - 6pm: Session 2: Engineering

21 May, 5pm - 6pm: Session 3: Computer Science
